The Government today (September 19) announced the appointment of two members to the Education Commission (EC).

 

The newly appointed members are Finance Director of Moet Hennessy Diageo Hong Kong Limited, Ms Kelly Chan Yuen-sau, and Partner of Kwok Yih & Chan, Mr Dieter Yih Lai-tak.

 

The two members have been appointed in their personal capacity for a two-year term with effect from September 21, 2016.

 

An Education Bureau spokesman said, “Given their rich experience in their respective professional sectors, we are confident that they will provide valuable advice and contribute to the work of the EC.”

 

The spokesman also thanked the outgoing members, Mr Walter Chan Kar-lok and Ms Dilys Chau Suet-fung, for their valuable contribution to the work of the EC.
